What We Cover
Monterra Originals produces documentaries and visual stories about business, technology, AI, the economy, infrastructure, consumer brands, work, transportation, cities, culture, unusual places, and overlooked stories.
We are most interested in stories that explain how something works, why it matters, and what happens next.
What to Include
A short note is enough to start. It helps if you include:
- what the story is, in a few sentences
- why it matters and who it affects
- how you know about it, and any documents, links, data, or sources that support it
- whether you have a personal or professional connection to the subject
- how you would like to be contacted, and whether you are comfortable being named
How to Submit
Send your idea through the Contact page. A direct submission channel is being set up and will be published there.
What Happens Next
Every submission is read. Because Monterra produces a limited number of stories, we cannot respond to every message or guarantee that a story will be covered.
If a story is pursued, we may follow up with questions and will verify the information independently before anything is published.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive material until we have been in touch and agreed on how it will be handled. Let us know if there is anything in your message you would not want made public.
